Today's Program
For the past 54 years the Babylon Rotary Club has provided college
scholarships to deserving students from local high schools at our Annual
Ferdinand Gutmann Memorial Awards Luncheon. The Babylon Rotary
Scholarship Program was founded by Ferdinand Gutmann, a unique Rotarian
of great personal, moral courage, who was devoted to the encouragement
and advancement of young people, worldwide goodwill and peace.
From the description of the academic and career goals provided by each
scholarship winner, it was clear that the Scholarship Committee again
chose wisely and well - this is a truly outstanding group of youngsters.
