Process for Resigning from Rotary
by Todd Seeton

We hate to lose any Rotarian for any reason, but sometimes there is change in the lives of the best intentioned Rotarians.  If for some reason your circumstances have changed, please take action so that you do not continue to get billed, even though you have stopped attending.

To resign from Rotary, please submit a letter of resignation, which you can e-mail or mail to the Treasurer of Secretary before the next Board meeting.  In it you should pick an effective date through which our Treasurer will calculate your final bill.  Please note that our dues, including the lunch costs, are always billed in arrears.

Assuming you are paid up, our Board will approve your resignation at its next meeting and will issue a letter stating that you resigned "in good standing."

The Hole Word to be E-mailed
by Kraig Kobert

ClubRunner makes it easy to electronically publish and send "The Hole Word" to all our members and friends.  If you know an ex-member, potential member, or just a good friend who would enjoy getting on our Bulletin emailing list, simply email Matt Montagne or Rob Weed with pertinent information, such as name, address, phone numbers, and most importantly, the email address where they can reached.

ClubRunner will also include a reminder to each recipient for all registrations and club related commitments including event attendance, volunteering, weekly meeting roster, and any responsibilities associated with new membership tasks. The eBulletin will automatically include the club's future speakers and have a link to the club web site to promote awareness.

ClubRunner is a database-backed membership communication tool. Accessible by all club members, it allows us to communicate much more effectively, as well as saves valuable time. Online registrations for events and volunteer activities, automatic email services, and an integrated e-Bulletin, among other features, makes it easy to promote your club's activities.

The website features easy to use content management tools, where we don't need to know HTML or FTP to update it. Accessible by any club member with a browser and Internet connection, it stays current with less effort.

Doxess, the creators of ClubRunner, welcome any comments or suggestions, and of course, bug reports. All correspondence related to ClubRunner is to be forwarded to clubrunner@doxess.com. For more information on ClubRunner, visit their website at www.clubrunner.ca.
