Getting ready for our Holiday party

Now is the time to solicit items for the holiday party silent auction.
We would like to have new items which our members and guests would purchase at the party. You can go to businesses who are not members and ask for donations.
Start now because before you know it December 8th will be here. As you know the money raised is for our scholarship funds.
Amy Gibby-Rosser and Carmolita Haney are in charge of this year's holiday party.

Marcene's Memos
by Marcene Friedley

Weekly message from President Marcene

Marcene's Memos:

A big thank you, to all who are helping the Service Committee sell the Christmas decorations. So far about 30% of the club has sold at least one item. The next deadline is Dec. 4 for placing orders.
Rick Blair did a nice job getting an article in the Towns County Sentinel last week, I hope you all saw it. When you talk to people keep in mind the proceeds are going to support the following community projects: Student of the Month scholarships, Literacy--Ferst Foundation, Drug Free Towns County Coalition and the local Food Banks.
Hope to see you all this Tuesday.
Yours in Rotary,
Marcene
