Reminder
by Allan Costa

Hi Everyone,

Just a few notes in follow up to this morning's meeting.

1) Below is the link to the club's website; for those not using it regularly, please bookmark it for easy access.

http://www.clubrunner.ca/CPrg/home/homeA.asp?cid=4226

2) We will be having a social gathering at Leo's home at 298 Summer St, Plymouth, at 7 pm on Friday, 10/30. It will be a "pot luck" event, so please bring your favorite dish! I think a fun gathering for fellowship and comraderie is just what we need.

3)  Our nominating committee (Robert, Irene, Paul) needs to submit a proposed slate of officers for next year by mid-November. Some names were thrown around at the board meeting this morning, but if you have any suggestions or interest, please let any one of them know.

4) Our average attendance is barely 50%, if that. Again, I am reaching out to members to make every effort to attend. The good news is that we are meeting our obligations, both financially and commitment-wise, but it would be nice to see some of the old faces back and participating with us.

5) We are planning a gingerbread decorating party again this year for the youngsters; Irene is working on it and we'll let you know when we have the details.

6) We haven't yet discussed a holiday party, but if anyone would like to take the lead on that, please let me know.

7) We have two teams of two persons each volunteering at the food pantry in West Plymouth. Each team does one Friday (5-6 pm) per month. If you are interested in being on a new team, or helping out when a team member is not available, please let me know.

Well, that's all for now. Feel free to call me anytime to discuss any matter on your mind regarding our club. Thank you!

Allan
