Program
- presentation by Dale KayeLivermore Chamber - President
Chris
welcomed and introduced Dale Eldridge Kay, who told us Livermore is the 5th largest Chamber in the bay area, and that Livermore is a Mecca and hub of social, and cultural innovation. The most colorful thing the Chamber does according to Dale is the film commission. She has never seen a more passionate interested community than Rotary. Initiatives for film making opportunities abound and she hared a video of the valley showing the attributes for filmmaking. She indicated that an episode of Americas most wanted, and a film crew in Livermore recently shot a chase seen down Main Street. We may have heard that Capt Scott had a bit part. The film Dale showed showcased our incredible community!
Chris; keep up the good work on great speakers!
Before the meeting adjourned Bill B gave us an early heads up on our 2010-bocce tournament set for April 18 next year!
