On Nov. 18, 2006, Ted and Kim Wendorff sponsored an event at their home to raise funds for the Wheelchair Project. Ted thinks the event will net over $10,000, enough for 133 wheelchairs. Eight couples supported the project, plus Gov. Dave Moyers and Rita, Mark and Pearl Leeka, Tony Haworth and others. Two sushi chefs prepared whatever guests ordered. Entertainment was provided by Kim and a young Korean tenor, Kevin Youk. Kevin's father is a Rotarian in the Koreatown Rotary Club.
