In certain circumstances, as the board deems appropriate, members may be excused from extracurricular Rotary projects, activities or programs other than the regular, weekly Rotary meetings. However, a Leave of Absence may be granted at the board's discretion only for circumstances of physical or mental health; or due to travel to a country where personal makeups or online access is not available. The maximum leave of absence will be six months. After six months a new application for leave would need to be filed by the Rotarian requesting the leave, and reviewed by the board.
