Community Service

Rotary's Community avenue of service is comprised of varied efforts that Rotarians make to improve the quality of life for those who live within their club's territory. This important committee aims to direct the thoughts and actions of the membership towards the community in which we all live and work, with the purpose of serving the most needy in the community.

Midland Rotary Club, community service, has helped over 35 families and individuals this year. Community Service has helped with medical expenses, education, hospital programs and food banks. We have contributed to the Wye Marsh, YMCA, Midland Area Reading Council, Habitat for Humanity and the Huronia District Hospital . We are pleased to be part of this community and enjoy helping to make this area a better place to work and raise our families.

These projects are made possible with the money raised through our Trip-of-the-Month ticket sales, Midland Rotary TV Bingo and Midland Rotary Auction.
