About Camp RYLA

RYLA stands for Rotary Youth Leadership Awards. One of the goals of Rotary is to help young people develop their leadership abilities and self-confidence to the fullest. To accomplish that goal, Rotary clubs around the world prepare thousands of young leaders through RYLA programs each year.

What is Rotary and Rotaract?

The Rotary Club in your area is one of 32,000 clubs found around the world; see our international website: http://www.rotary.org./ Rotarians are business and professional leaders who have accepted the ideal of service as a basis for attaining success and happiness in their personal and business lives. Our community service includes Camp RYLA, here at home, and the eradication of polio as a global effort.

Rotaract is a Rotary-sponsored club for young adults (ages 18 to 30) also for the purpose of developing leaders and service-minded citizens. Members of Rotaract also serve as volunteer counselors at Camp RYLA. See the Twin Cities Rotaract club's website at http://www.tcrotaract.org./
