How to Propose a New Member to

1) A current member should host a prospective member for a number of Club meetings or events so he or she can develop a basic understanding of the Club and its membership.

2) The current member discusses with the prospect their serious interest in the Club and their willingness to be considered for membership.

3) The sponsoring member completes the Online New Member Proposal Form by clicking here

4) All references to the prospect until he or she has completed the process should be as "REPEAT VISITORS."

5) A member of the Interview Committee will contact the prospect and complete the interview, classification and recommendation to the RCPC Board of Directors, and the board votes on the proposal at a called meeting.

6) If approved by the board, the prospective member's name is then printed in the HUB newsletter for two issues in order to invite comment by any Club member.

7) Provided the board receives no objections from the membership, a formal letter of invitation for membership is mailed by the Club Administrator.

8) If, however, an objection in writing is received by the board, the objection will be considered by the board at its next meeting to either affirm or reverse its original action.

9) Once the linvitation etter has been executed and returned along with a check for the appropriate dues and initiation fee, the individual will be presented as a full member of the Rotary Club of Park Cities at the next earliest Club meeting.
