The Youth Service Committee distributes $25,000 each year from monies raised by the Rotary Club of Edmonton for activities benefiting youths, especially those living in the club's territory (downtown Edmonton). While a significant amount of the committee's annual budget is already allocated to ongoing programs, such as, for example, the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA), and the Rotary Youth Program of Enrichment (RYPEN), the committee entertains requests for funding on a case by case basis at its monthly meetings.
