Norman is Test Community for OGE's Smart Grid

Sooner Rotarian, Sandra Longcrier, gave complete details on this new program that will measure energy useage throughout the day. In years to come this program will roll out to all OGE customers. However, Norman customers will receive new electric meters beginning February 15.

The Hanna Project--Healthcare to West Africa

Missionary Mike Cousineau and a group of volunteers that will travel to South Africa with the Hanna Project to provide medical aid for those living in primitive conditions. Sooner Rotarian, Bob Usry, will volunteer with the group.

Sherri Coale Addresses Sooner Rotary

One of the club's favorite speakers, Sherri Coale, spoke at the December 15 Sooner Rotary meeting. The University of Oklahoma Woman's Basketball Coach, shared her passion for this year's young team and encouraged Sooner Rotarians to support the team.

Perfect Attendance that is... Long-time Sooner Rotarian, former club president and all-around Sooner Rogtary leader, Bob Usry, was awarded his 20-year Sooner Rotary pin at the December 15 Sooner Rotary club meeting. Grover Ozmun made the presentation.

Ambassadorial Scholar Ahyoung Yoo

Sooner Rotarian Mary Sallee has served as the Rotary Liaison to our ambassadorial scholar from South Korea for the past couple of years. Ahyoung is completing a Masteres Degree program at the University of Oklahoma and she addressed Sooner Rotary on Tuesday, November 10.
