Andy Hill shared his memories of playing on the UCLA basketball team during the John Wooden era. He also related his experiences while leading various CBS television productions. He is currently a motivational speaker and author.

KEEN is a national, nonprofit volunteer-led organization that provides one-to-one recreational opportunities for children and young adults with mental and physical disabilities at no cost to their families and caregivers. Our Rotary club is a sponsor of the LA chapter of this organization.

On Monday, October 12th, Gil Garcetti gave a very inspirational presentation about the importance of clean drinking water in Africa. If you missed the presentation, you can view a video of it. Jan Rhees has DVD's. Just ask Jan if you can borrow a copy.
Gil is a wonderful and talented photographer. His presentation included pictures he took during his travels to Africa. Below is a link to that part of his presentation. It will be worth your while to take a quick look at them.
