A native of Glenwood Springs and a resident of Grand Junction, Scott McInnis Colorado roots go back generations. A businessman and public servant, he has served his community, Colorado and our country, beginning as a police officer and volunteer firefighter. He entered elected office as a member of Colorado House of Representatives, rising to the leadership position of Majority Leader. Scott went on to serve six terms in the U.S. Congress and continued to deliver results for the state including the creation of two national parks. He and his wife, Lori, have grown children and one grandchild.
Volunteer trainer Susan Imming along with Vietnam veteran Artie Guerrero and his service dog, Sierra, will introduce us to the world of service dog training.
