Rotary has the power to change lives. An irrigation reservoir at this location would add a second crop each and every year. Incomes would double. Families could move from subsistence to an income base that would allow education for children and higher aspirations for entire farm communities. It is important to make this project a reality.

St. Paul Rotary started the Dictionary Project in the fall of 2006. Each year, dictionaries are donated to St. Paul students in honor of our weekly presenters. The fall of 2008 was the third year that St. Paul Rotary has participated and this year we gave over 3,000 dictionaries to all third graders in the St. Paul Public School System. Half of the books were delivered in the classroom by Rotarians to each of the students - the other half were delivered by the schools distribution program.

During the summer, 2008, Saint Paul Rotary Club #10 created "Uniquely Saint Paul", a self-guided walking tour in celebration our 21st Century River City's most distinctive qualities. We worked closely with the City of Saint Paul. Please download the colorful map/brochure and enjoy a leisurely walk yourself-or stop along so that you can take or schedule special tours of some of the buildings you'll be visiting. Websites are listed for your convenience. To download, select St. Paul Walking tour in the Download section in the lower right of our web site.
