At this year's District 7070 Conference, the Les Faludy Leadership Award was awarded to Samir Dossal, our Past President for 2007-08. This award is a tremendous achievement for our club, and is awarded to the Club President who, in the judgement of the District Governor, provided the most outstanding leadership during the preceding Rotary year.
The club congratulated Samir on his fine achievement and certainly recognizes all the hard work he put into the club in 2007-08.

On Sept 07,08 Jag Awatramani his wife Bridget, Bill Harris and his wife Sheila, Glen Waugh, Michelle and Dan Johnstone travelled to Cobourg to represent the Richmond Hill Club in the Foundation Walk.

Our club donated funds to the renovation of Crosby Park and on Saturday Sept 6, 08 Nasir Azam, Li Zhang and her companion Brian, Bill Harris and Dan Johnstone handed out balloons, worked to promote Rotary and upcoming Rotary events. Neil Appalsamy being presented the Paul Harris Fellow award for his exception service to Rotary in promoting the TV Auction - specifically for the contribution of a new software to manage the auction operations.
