The Lake Zurich Rotary held a Polio Eradication fundraising event October 24, in Lake Zurich and raised close to $2,000 through the generous donations of people and businesses around town. We still have a ways to reach our goal of $9,000 BY 2011. Please contact President Ron Roberti for information on how you can help.

Rotary Helps Feed the Hungry

The LZ Rotary Club kicked-off a Food Drive September 6, 2008 to help feed the hungry in our area. The drive itself ran from September 6 to September 20, 2008, but Rotary continues to help with donations to the pantry on an ongoing basis. The theme of this drive is ONE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE. This Rotary project benefits the St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry operated by St. Frances de Sales Catholic Church in Lake Zurich, IL.
