The Elgin Breakfast Rotary invited the entire community to participate in its Annual Charlie HOGG Cecil Roast & Raffle on Thursday, July 9th, 2009. Several ticket holders split the $5,000 prize and there were various other winners as well. The turn out was great and the kids had a blast paddle boating, playing in the sand and the bounce house. The event was held at Rolling Knolls Country Club, Rohrsen Road, Elgin from 5:00pm and on. Tickets for the Roast are $130 and included one dinner, cocktails, a chance at the $5000 Club Raffle and the best steel band music around. Ticket proceeds will benefit local Rotary charities.
