Who are we? We're a small but dynamic bunch of business men and women, of all ages, backgrounds and professions, who meet once a week to enjoy friendship and laughter whilst we share ideas, learn from thought-provoking speakers and find ways to give back to the communities we're so fortunate to live in.

What do we do? We volunteer our time and talents, energy and resources in an effort to have a positive impact on the lives of those in our local community and further afield.  We aim to put the FUN into FUNdraising whilst we try to do our small bit towards addressing some of the urgent needs of the local and worldwide communities.

"We make a living by what we get, we make a life by what we give" - Winston Churchill

Community Service covers the activities we undertake to help improve the quality of life for those in our community who are most in need. As well as instigating our own projects we often link up with organizations already providing assistance so that our additional manpower and resources can be most effective. Our Community projects range from 'hands-on' activities such as serving meals at the Phoenix Rescue Mission and helping to decorate a temporary hostel for homeless families to providing supplies to a Family Resource Centre, supporting literacy programs for young children and sponsoring a local school.

"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world.  Indeed it's the only thing that ever has" - Margaret Mead

Vocational Service gives us the opportunity to encourage vocational awareness and high ethical standards as well as sharing our skills and expertise with those in the community who need direction and guidance. Our Club has focused particularly on young people and those who have come to their vocation later in life for whatever reason. As well as sponsoring student-of-the-year awards and supporting RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards) we work closely with The Rotary Vocational Fund of Arizona (TRVFA) to provide monetary assistance to those struggling financially to complete their vocational studies.

"Never let the odds keep you from doing what you know in your heart you were meant to do" - H. Jackson Brown Jnr

International Service is where Rotary, with clubs representing almost every corner of the world, has unique opportunities to promote international understanding, provide humanitarian assistance, encourage co-operation and develop worldwide partnerships to address some of the fundamental issues facing the world.  We aim to be involved in each of these by hosting a Youth Exchange Student in most years, supporting Hunger Plus, being actively involved in Group Study Exchanges, donating to the Millenium Project and fundraising for the Polio Plus campaign.

"As one person I cannot change the world but I can change the world of one person" -Paul Shane Spear

Club Service encompasses everything that ensures the effective running of the Club. As a volunteer organization we rely entirely on each other for the 'behind the scenes' operations that enable the club to function smoothly. We achieve this by focusing on fun and friendship so there's always an incentive to pitch in and help. From arranging inspiring speakers, writing the weekly Bulletin or doing the boring paperwork to organizing informal get-togethers and fun nights out, the Club is very much what we the members make it.

"No one can whistle a symphony.  It takes a whole orchestra to play it" - H. E. Luccock
