The Howell Rotary Club will meet on Monday, January 23^th, 2012 for lunch at 12:00 in the Community Room at St. Joseph Mercy Livingston Hospital on Byron Road in Howell.

At the last meeting, held January 16^th, members listened to guest Rick Zipper discuss the psychology of hiring employees.  The presentation was very informative and we thank Rick for sharing it with us.

Welcome newest member Bob Ellis, who was inducted on January 16, 2012. 

This week’s program will be extra special.  Our Club will be presenting a sizable check to the Livingston County United Way.  This money represents the net proceeds from last fall’s Tour event.  Club members can take great pride in our successful fund raising event. 

But in addition to congratulating each other, let’s also take the time to thank our many sponsors.  There will be several of them on hand Monday to be recognized.  Take the opportunity to extend your personal thank you and to encourage them to continue their participation as sponsors of this year’s Tour.

Have you registered with the state as an organ donor?  We will be doing a count next week (January 30) to see what percentage is registered.  Just in case you forgot you can go on-line at giftoflifemichigan.org and self-register.
