Houston's Best Kept Secret is Houston Greeters
	Thanks to Past President Bernie Satterwhite for helping us discover Houston's best kept secret - Houston Greeters, the non-profit whose volunteers share knowledge and experiences to help Houston visitors and prospective residents experience the many attractions, cultures and happenings in the country's fourth largest city. At our last meeting in November, we learned that last year, more than 1,000 people requested "greets" to see some part of the Houston region and how Houston Greeters helps them experience the sights, sounds and special things that impact their overall impression. The group collectively represents 17 languages and is a founding member of the Global Greeter Network (voluntary association of independent welcoming programs in cities around the world, including Houston, New York City, Chicago, Toronto, Fairbanks, Melbourne, Adelaide, Buenos Aires, Belgrade, Brighton, Lyon, Marseille, Pas-de-Calais, Nantes, Paris and The Hague).
