Join Us For District 2012 Scholarship Awards Luncheon Honoring 4-Way-Test Contest Winners
	Join us in congratulating ROTARY 4-WAY-TEST ESSAY DISTRICT 5890 SCHOLARSHIP WINNERS for 2012 by attending the Scholarship Awards Luncheon, hosted by Bellaire/SW Rotary on May 17 ($17.50 pp), at which the winners will present their winning essays. You’ll meet, and hear this year’s winning essays read by: 1^stPlace Winner: KEVIN LEBA, Cypress Fairbanks Rotary, Cypress Woods High School ($2000 scholarship); 2^ndPlace Winner: MICAELA CANALES, Kingwood Rotary, Quest High School ($1000 scholarship); and 3^rdPlace Winner: ASHLEY PENDERGRASS, Katy Rotary, Katy High School ($500 scholarship). The many essays received were of high quality, and the competition provided a meaningful way for senior InterAct members throughout the District to consider and apply Rotary’s 4-way-test to real life situations. Serving on this year’s judge’s panel with Chair Nan Wagoner were DG Rhonda Walls, DGE Chris Schneider, PDG Sunny Sharma, District Chief of Staff Jon McKinnie, District Secretary Carmen Cuneo, and District InterAct/EarlyAct Chair Tommie Buscemi.
