PREVENTING VIOLENCE IN THE WORKPLACE
	Pamela Hutchins presented a timely and informative program about violence in the workplace. The Message: EVERYWHERE is someone's workplace, and we all should be alert. The evening after her keynote presentation we learned of the tragic, Colorado movie-theater-shootings, which underscored the wisdom of her recommendations. She is pictured with Program Chair Nan Wagoner and a few of the many books Pamela currently has in print.
Hutchins is co-founder and owner of the Employment Practices Solutions company, with a background in HR, legal, and information systems. She is a developer and producer of HR training videos, a professional member of the National Speakers’ Association, a certified Human Resource Certification Institute Senior Professional, and co-author of the book Prevent Workplace Harassment: Proven Policies that Keep Your Company Out of Court. She also writes award-winning fiction and nonfiction about “having it all” from the position of having a little too much of everything: writer, athlete, wife, mom of an ADHD & Asperger’s son, five kids/step-kids, business owner,and musician.
