>Kevin and Vicki introduced us to a new website that the Idaho Department of Labor is unveiling. www.labor.idaho.gov is the address.
>The Post Falls office at 600 N. Thornton Street has been very busy. They reported that most of their work at this time involves dispensing unemployment funds in the form of a debit card.
>Their main goal is to get people back into the workforce as soon as possible.
>Kootenai County has an unemployment rate of 9.7%; Idaho 7.8% and nationally 8.2%.
>The office can help unemployed individuals create an employment plan and seek jobs online.
They also have space available for companies to interview individuals on site.
>The website allows businesses to report new employees, post jobs and seek information.
