Alan Ingram introduced our new Paul Harris Fellow, John Mackle. John worked in the education system for 37 years and is the retired Director of Education for the Peterborough Victoria Northumberland Clarington Catholic District School Board. The prestigious award was presented in recognition of his significant contributions to the community and the education system. He is pictured accepting his Fellowship from President Sue. Our guest speaker was Trent University professor emeritus Lionel Rubinoff who gave a thought-provoking discussion about the ethical dilemmas facing a health system with declining resources and an aging population.
