Our weekly meeting of July 09 was packed with interesting and celebratory activities. Rick Storey (pictured), the Group Study Exchange leader, and group members Jeremy Campbell and Daraleigh Irving gave a presentation about their Group Study Exchange entitled District 7010 meets Japan. It was fascinating to hear about the cultural diversity of Japan, the hospitality of the Japanese hosts, and the benefits of the exchange program. Rick Storey was also honoured by being named Rotarian of the Year for his determined efforts on various committees to demonstrate service above self.
