Our weekly meeting was full of activities ranging from new member Lucas Smith's classification talk, a presentation about online elder abuse by Monica Cachagee of the OPP, and a cheque presentation. Michael Taylor of Five Counties Children's Centre received a cheque for $23,041 from Stephen White of Holiday Ford and Rotarian Joe McCulloch (pictured) which represented the proceeds from the Rotary Holiday Ford Classic Golf Tournament. Last year the Centre helped over 5400 children but there are still 800 children on a waiting list and these funds are greatly appreciated.
