We had former and present members of provincial parliament and Liberal Party of Ontario supporters sharing lunch with us and listening intently to our guest speaker. Yasir Naqvi (pictured) is the Ottawa Centre MPP and Parliamentary Assistant to Finance Minister Dwight Duncan and he spoke to us about the tortuous path that the Government of Ontario must follow if it hopes to balance the provincial budget by 2017 or 2018. Mr. Naqvi delivered his message and answered questions in a very thoughtful manner, although he did apologize for the huge number of statistics.
