Ray Taylor introduced us to Maria Grycan, the public affairs person for the Fire Department. Maria shared information about the Fire Hawk, the perpetual fire season, and much more. Maria conducted a Q&A to test our knowledge of who pays for what at a fire station (TVs, internet access, meal ingredients, treadmills, furniture, etc.) Maria also provided hand outs for safety on Smoke alarms, escaping from burning buildings, and earthquake preparedness.
