One Sunday August 10, we had our Annual Progressive Dinner Party. This is one of our important fund-raiser events during the year. With this event, Westchester Rotarians raise funds for Westchester Family YMCA, and the Y's Youth & Government or Y&G program. This is an evening full of fun and fellowship.

| This event is made possible by our own Laurie Hughes and her leadership skills and generosity of Gateway to LA member hotels. The hotels who participated are Hilton, Crowne Plaza, Sheraton and Radisson. Our thanks to Laurie, and each hotel manager and staff. Special thanks to Michael Payton and his staff at Crowne Plaza. And my heart-felt thanks to everyone for attending this great event. We also had elected officials and their representatives there. Council member Bill Rosendahl presented Lisa D'Angelo, Exec. Dir. of Westchester Family YMCA, with a certificate of appreciation from City of Los Angeles.
We are going to have a special slide show on our August 20th weekly meeting with the pictures taken from this event. This has been made possible with Gisele's photography and Warren's computer skills. Thanks to both of you.
