The holiday season is just around the corner. And that means it is time for Wilshire Rotary’s annual Give-a-Gift-to-Santa community service event.
Santa Claus will make an appearance to collect our wrapped gifts and present the bundle to Irene Lewis, Executive Director of Salvation Army Red Shield facility located in the Pico-Union District of Los Angeles. The gifts will be given to under-privileged boys and girls at their very own Christmas party sponsored by Salvation Army Red Shield. BTW: the kids especially like receiving board games, so make make them happy and bring a wrapped board game to our event.
Mark your calendar for Tuesday, December 6, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at the lovely home of Rob and Kathleen Barnes at 220 South Arden Boulevard. This is a family event. Bring your children, nephews, nieces, and grandchildren! Refreshments and yummy noshes will be served.
