Wilshire Rotary Club of Los Angeles takes pause to remember Rotarian Rick Searey, who unexpectedly passed away on June 7. He was a two-time past president of Bellflower Rotary Club and was to serve a third term as club president starting July 1. Rick was the quintessential Rotarian who served Rotary up and beyond the call of duty. He was named Rotarian of the Year in 2009 and recently co-chaired the District Conference with Wilshire Rotarian Elsa Gillham. Rick was also the perennial chair of the District Golf Tournament. Rick was a friend to all in and out of Rotary World. He will be greatly missed and will always be remembered as a beloved member of our Rotary Family.
