This week Wilshire Rotary welcomes program speaker Laura Runsten, Development Director for the Los Angeles Chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. She will present a most interesting talk about the founding of the organization and how it grew to become one of the world’s largest health organization committed to research, treatment, and cure of blood cancer diseases.
Fellow Rotarians, staying informed is one of our signature attributes so mark your calendar for Wednesday, June 20, 12 noon, at the beautiful, elegant, and historic Ebell to meet and greet Laura Runsten. You will learn about the latest advancements that LLS has achieved in the prevention, screening, and treatment of leukemia and lymphoma and related blood cancers.
It is going to be another excellent meeting at Wilshire Rotary. Never hesitate to invite a prospective member, business colleague, family or your BFF and introduce them to The Friendliest Club in the Region. A three-course lunch is a recession-proof $25.00. Try your luck and purchase a few raffle tickets at a buck each for an opportunity to win the bulging jackpot. All you have to do is pick the Queen of Hearts and President Kyle will give you the cash. If you don’t win, be assured that parking is always FREE.
Visitors from around the world are welcome.
See you there!
