Jim Smith was the club's delegate to the convention in Montreal, Canada. The highlights of the event were the Palestinian flag paraded in the opening ceremony to announce the chartering of a club in Ramallah with the help of Jerusalem's district governor, a new partnership with Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, the Hall of Friendship and several breakout sessions on membership retention and recruitment.
Jim and Joan also enjoyed the fine dining and shopping in Montreal. Jim was intrigued with the bicycle stands through out the city. You just swiped your credit card and "checked" out the bike. The bike could be returned to any other stand in the city.
