Lee and Sue Scherwitz hosted their own weinschule (wine school) for Rotarians, guests and other wine enthusiasts. We learned a little geography while dissecting German wine labels, enjoying German potato salad and sampling red and white varieties. A great time was had by all and we learned the label structure well enough to select a wine for the next occasion. Pictured below and going clockwise are Lee and Sue, Lee reviewing label #4, serving samples to the class and still standing after 20 bottles of wine! Thanks to Lee and Sue for a delight full evening.
