Becky Kliss, president of the Sustainable Business Forum, helped found the organization along with seven other local companies. The Forum's mission is to promote business practices that are cost-effective and encourage environmental stewardship, social responsibility and economic vitality. Activities include educational programs such as the May 2, 2012 tour of the Pokagon Community Center which received Gold Certification for its for energy and environmental design. Monthly lunch and learn session help get the word out about the "Triple Bottom Line"; a term that measures success in economic terms such as sales or profits, in social terms such as labor practices or product responsibility, and, finally on environmental measures such as waste produced or energy used. Becky passion for recycling and reuse was demonstrated during her response to club member questions. Forum member Christopher Brayak from Wightman & Associates joined Becky for the Q&A.
