| Well, the New Year is well under way and things are very busy at the Van Dyke household. Our daughter Aubrey is 15 now and she has just gotten her driving permit! She is a Freshman at Forest Grove High School and a member of the Vikette Dance Team.
Our son Andrew is 13 and an 8th grader at Neil Armstrong. He is on the basketball team and just last week was student of the month! Parri and I are very proud of both of our children.
This past Sunday I was at the Portland Auto Show manning a shift at our Concours display. What a great selection of historic automobiles we had in our booth! Several times during my three hours there, people told me these historic automobiles put the new cars to shame. What an awesome opportunity for our club to promote our Concours d'Elegance.
The swap meet will be coming up in April and hopefully all of us will take the time to do a shift at our Concours booth. The time we take now to promote our event will certainly help with this year's success.
I hope this year is a successful one for you and I hope your opportunities to put service above self are very rewarding as well.
