Our club creates a parade float for the Newberg Old Fashioned Festival each year. In 2007, our float entry won "Best Theme" first place prize. Newberg has one of the largest parades for small town festivals in our region. Local students, clubs, companies, and agencies drive various floats through the parade route, which winds past our Rotary Pancake Breakfast shortly after 10 AM the last Saturday every July.

In 2007 our float was made of half a new light rail car and half an old street car,keeping to the theme "Something old, something new". The float was pulled by a beautifully restored tractor.
