Sandy Nichols introduced Gael Mueller: Born in Lindsay, California, two older brothers, her father was a CPA and a Scandinavian tenor; she sang her first song, Sandbox Lullaby, at the age of 2 and gave her first formal speech at the age of eleven. Mueller is a practicing attorney and a member of the Club.

Sold-out houses, exhilarated audiences, choirs performing at their peak; it will be an experience the community will long treasure. Audiences are expected to rise to their feet as they witness this extraordinary musicality, precision, costuming, choreography and flat-out energy.

     This year they are again inviting these acapello choirs from around the world to join for the  Festival & Competition, 2009, which is taking place June 26-28th in the Performing Arts Center on the campus of Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo. This Festival promises to be even better and more memorable. This year will feature choruses from the Republic of Congo, Fullerton College, Saudi Arabia, Cuesta College Chamber Singers, Philippines and Republic of Macedonia.
