On May 17th 2012 The Ashburnham/Westminster Rotary held it's 6th annual awards night to celebrate the successes of three individuals in our communities that continuously go above and beyond.
The Ashburnham/Westminster Rotary is excited to announce the winners of the 6th Annual Awards Night, 2012:


Town of AshburnhamSergeant Chris Conrad

Chris has been involved with the Police Department since 2000 serving as a part time dispatcher while still in college.  He was hired as a part time officer in 2001 and became a full time in 2005.  He was promoted to Sergeant in 2010 with the Ashburnham Police department.  He also resides in Ashburnham with his wife Amy. 

Town of Westminster:  Ellen Sheehan

Ellen has been a resident of Westminster since 1997 and an employee of the town clerk’s office since 2004.  Ellen is being recognized for not only her achievements with the town clerk’s office but also her involvement within her community and also in the church. 

Ashburnham/Westminster School District:  Ed Fitzgerald

Ed has worked at Oakmont Regional High School for the last 21 years.  His primary responsibilities are the assistant athletic director and In House Suspension Supervisor.  He is also currently the assistant boys track coach, and he has coached track and other sports at Oakmont for nearly 30 years.  Mr. Fitzgerald is one of the most valuable members of the Oakmont staff.  he is consistently caring and nurturing of all of the students.  His demeanor and personality brings a friendly atmosphere that everyone likes to share.  He is a tireless worker and dedicated to his job and Oakmont.   He is helpful and supportive to staff, students and parents alike. He grew up in Gardner, but has a special connection to Montreal, Canada and Vermont.
