December 21st, White Elephant Gift Exchange

These are the Rules:

Every Rotarian must bring a wrapped gift.  The gift may be "like new" or "new" and should not cost more than $20.00

The gift should be wacky, funny and entertaining.  If you are stumped, just pay a visit to your local Dollar Store.

This is a game intended to be lively and funny!!

Be secretive about your gift.

The gifts will be placed on two tables--one table for even numbers and one for odd numbers.

Each Rotarian will draw a number as you register for attendance from 2 baskets, one basket has even numbers and the other has odd numbers.

The game Marshall will draw even number and odd numbers.    The first numbers open and keep their gifts.

The second of numbers drawn either select a gift from the tables or steal the gift from the first person.

If your gift is stolen, you return to the table to select another gift.

Each stolen gift may not be stolen more than 2 times

You are not permited to steal the give that was just stolen from you.

The exchange continues until every gift has been opened and the last person keeps their gift.

Remember, the funnier the gift

Breakfast with Santa

We had another successful year in cooperation with South Suburban Parks and Recs to put together the Breakfast with Santa.  Approximately 250 people were served breakfast and toys were handed out to 130+ kids.

It started out on Tuesday night where several Rotarians got together and wrapped all the presents to give to the kids.
