Job Seekers Need Your Help
It is a privilege to be the Instructor of the Cupertino Rotary Job Search Support Group for this eighth year. Thank you for this honor. The Group will meet every Tuesday evening from 5:00pm to 7:00pm beginning September 8, 2009 and on through to June 16, 2010. The meetings will be held in the cafeteria of Monta Vista High School, 21840 McClellan Road, Cupertino. Parking is available in the Staff parking lot. This program is for the unemployed, under employed and career changers and has received official recognition from the Governor of California and the State Legislature. As a Rotarian, you can be of tremendous assistance to our job seekers by granting them an information interview about your field of work. The job searcher would be seeking your observations, opinions, ideas, and suggestions (about doing the kind of work you do or about the company you work for) and will not be asking you for a job. If you are willing to share your occupational wisdom with a job seeker, please provide Jim Gibson with your name, occupation, telephone number and e-mail. The job seeker would contact you to set up a mutually convenient time and place to meet. Feel free to contact Jim if you have questions.
