 Ahead of the regular meeting, we had a special meeting with PDG Don Allen presiding.This had to do with the process of considering hiring paid help for our club due to the size and magnitude of work with the size of the club.He outlined the investigation, the committee, the process so far, and moving forward and the way to work the outcome in terms of physical space, funding and management. Don made many good points including that we need to keep moving forward to maintain our status as the Gold Standard of Rotary Clubs. At the end he took a short poll, which indicated about 3/4 approval of those in attendance. Don invited any Rotarians that wanted more information or had objections to contact him to share their views.
