Mike Mitchell, Committee Chairman and sponsor of Benfer Elementary School bikes program was presented an award by Klein ISD Superintendent, Dr. Cain, at their 'VIP' Luncheon, held recently at Benfer Elementary School.

Champions Sunrise Rotary Club was nominated by Dr. Lambert, Benfer Elementary School Principal, in recognition of the impact of the Pedaling to Success program, sponsored by the club, in Klein and Cy-Fair ISD. The program currently provides 96 bikes which will be awarded to boys and girls for the coming school year. It is the stated objective to eventually include all elementary schools throughout the districts.
