 The FireSafe Council’s mission is mobilize the people of Santa Clara County to protect their homes, communities and environment from wildfires. The FireSafe Council provides free services to help residents create and maintain Defensible Space around their homes, works with stakeholder agencies to create fuel breaks for community wide wildfire protection, and partners with Smokey Bear to provide thousands of residents - including children - fire education and resources.
