| Since 2005, the Manchester Rotary Club has been affording the opportunity for girls from Manchester to attend a 3-week session at summer camp. In association with Camp Farwell in Vermont, the oldest girls' summer camp in the USA, Manchester Rotarians are awarded the camperships in exchange for a work weekend in the Spring, doing clean-up and Spring chores to prepare the camp for opening. To date, 13 young Manchester residents have attended the camp through this program, with 2 more to attend in 2012. |
