The Mexicali Calafia Rotary Club will be holding their annual picnic at Pine Valley Park in Pine Valley, California on Sunday, August 28, 2011. All members of the Rancho Cucamonga Rotary Club are invited. We just need to tell them by the night of Tuesday, August 16 how many will be coming. This is a great social event for the entire family. They play softball, horse shoes, tug of war and other activities. And it is one of the best carne asado taco feasts that I have ever eaten. Bring your own drinks and be prepared to have a great time.

They would like to come up and meet with us, so this would be a great opportunity to meet with them and plan the meeting. Also, the school supply distribution in Mexicali will take place September 8 – 10, 2011.

The picnic usually starts at around 10:00 AM and goes until the park closes at 6 or 7. To get to the park, take the I-15 South to the I-8. Go East on the I-8 for about 47 miles to the Pine Valley Exit and then go North on Pine Valley Road to the park entrance. For more info on the park go to:
