Representative Charles Sargent spoke to the club last week and, much like the recent legislative session, spent much of his time answering questions about the recent guns in restaurants and guns in parks legislation. He mentioned that those issues actually took up very little time but aroused much interest from the media and public. He also was pleased to share that the district he represents (Williamson County and the cities of Brentwood and Franklin) once again all have the highest bond rating possible at AAA, a unique distinction among the nation's state legislators.
