Mr. Bain is a long time
resident of Brentwood. He has collected many Civil War artifacts and
has done extensive research in the area regarding the "War of Northern
Aggression". Tom Bain was
an HR executive at HCA and owned the Tom Bain agency in Brentwood. He
played football for Coach Paul Bryant at Alabama. He has served as Mayor
of Brentwood, President of the Brentwood Chamber of Commerce, President
of Brentwood Civitan and coach sports for his children and
grandchildren. He is currently on the Brentwood Historical Commission.
Mr. Bain serves as county commissioner for the 7th District in
Brentwood. Tom is most famous for the being the father of Brentwood Morning Rotary President Preston Bain. (No Preston, you don't get an extra make-up for having your dad speak!)
Tom
will be able to stay a few minutes after his presentation to answer
questions about finding artifacts and about the areas Civil War sites. |
