Craig Daliessio has worn a few hats in his time. Some fit and some didn’t. Some he chose and some were chosen for him.Like Homelessness.
In 2007, after a highly successful 9 year run in the residential mortgage industry, Craig lost his own home as that industry collapsed around him. In 2008, the company he worked for reduced from 2000 branch offices to 125. Their entire Tennessee presence was shut down and Craig was without a job for the first time since he was 11 years old. Unable to find work and pay the rent on the home he was leasing, he was forced into homelessness. What followed was a twisting, turning 3 ½ year road marked by the harsh reality of life without a home.
Craig slept in his car, hidden in the dense overgrowth behind a church in Nashville. His homelessness finally ended in January 2012, but only after he wrote three books, four blogs, and enrolled at Liberty University Online to complete his Bachelors Degree in Religion with his minor in Life Coaching. Today Craig is the founder of The Little Old Ant Group, his motivational speaking / Life Coaching and Personal Development service where he applies the lessons learned in the lonely, harsh, darkness of a Volvo hidden in a Nashville weed bed.
Craig will receive his Bachelor of Sciences at Commencement Exercises on May 12, 2012 at Liberty University in Lynchburg Virginia. It took 6 semesters for him to complete his work. He did five of them from his car. |
